Motion Design
I love doing motion design in my projects (who doesn't like the added flair of something that moves?)! Here are some examples of motion work that I have directed and animated.
ESPN Hype Video
A mock advertisement for the streaming service ESPN+! I admire the editing, big type, and motion associated with this genre of advertisement, and sought to teach myself how to emulate that look and feel.
ARCA Explainers
Arca has won a Core77 Speculative Design award! It has also been shown on the UW College of Arts and Sciences website. I worked with several teammates to develop the video’s story and main keyframes, but was the only animator and sound artist for the first explainer. The work I did on this video also heavily informed the production and visual language of the second explainer.
